Hi everyone,
I've created a saved view of Events without Locations. Please help us add locations for these events, so we can make a complete map of military actions, campaigns, and so forth.

Kirrily, I found http://www.thespecialforce.com/maps/map_room.htm which may be of help. Used it with Battle of Hiep Hoa, to determine if the Hiep Hoa found by searching Google Maps was the same location as the Special Forces base which was overrun in the battle.

Done, except for the Opposition to the Vietnam war (I'd guess that was everywhere.....)

Viewed Military conflicts in the map, and it's obvious that a large number of battles just have 'Vietnam', 'Laos' or 'Cambodia' as the location.
I also noticed some battles that predate the 1950s - 1970s Vietnam Theatre that I've tried to clean up.

Wow, thanks sprocket. To be honest, I set this base up for a demo (see forthcoming blog post), and this particular comment was demoing how to get people to contribute to a base, so I guess that worked ;) Good to have the data, though. I agree we should clean up those with too-general locations.
